
Japer is the senior legislative associate for his team. He monitors and tracks legislative concepts regarding energy, procurement and transportation. Before moving to D.C., Japer worked in the Missouri House of Representatives as the legislative assistant to Chairman Curtis. His task was to help the people of Ferguson and the rest of the 73rd District by advocating for key legislation and relaying information about beneficial programs and resources to constituents. He was also an admission counselor for his alma mater (Missouri State University), specifically recruiting first generation college students from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma. He has a passion for politics, civic engagement and loves to sing karaoke.
