Yujia is a Research Assistant on both the Education & Economy and the Industry and Procurement teams. She is currently serving a fellowship as part of the Kimpton Fellows Program. Before joining Stateside, Ms. Sun gained experience state & local government working as an intern in the Illinois Governor’s Office and a local Chicago alderman. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018, double-majoring in Statistics and Public Policy. Having been raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she is an avid fan of the Tar Heels and spends her free time reading and exploring different neighborhoods in the DC area.
